FGK on course for growth

FGK Clinical Research GmbH will open a branch office in Berlin in March 2020. The Berlin office will support the operative units at the German headquarters in Munich.

"The last three years have been excellent for FGK Clinical Research GmbH. Many of our existing customers have contracted us for further projects. We were also able to convince a whole range of new customers that we are as a service provider an extremely attractive partner for all aspects of clinical research in Europe. At our headquarters in Munich, our opportunities for growth are limited both in terms of space and personnel. Therefore, we have now decided to take advantage of the more relaxed personnel and rental situation in Berlin to attract highly qualified colleagues to our team and to further expand our capacities as a high-quality and reliable partner for our customers," states Martin Krauss, one of the two managing directors of FGK Clinical Research.

"We have been looking for another location for quite some time. With more than 30 new hires in Munich in 2019, our location there has reached the maximum. The fact that we were able to win such a promising and likeable site manager with Prof. Dr. Hermine Wenzlaff has given us wings. The recruitment of further 8-12 colleagues is planned for 2020. We take this challenge and continue to look optimistically into the future", says Ursula Türcke, Senior Director Clinical Operations at FGK.

Mrs. Wenzlaff is also looking forward to her new challenge in the Berlin FGK branch: "FGKs mission convinced me immediately - approachable, authentic and open for innovative solutions. Having worked for many years as a professor for clinical research at the Medical School Berlin and as a clinical monitor at Parexel, I bring in expertise in the areas of conducting clinical studies, site management and quality management. With enthusiasm I am looking forward to successfully contribute to establishment of the Berlin office".
